That's the welcome our new Wellness addition is designed to create - and you can choose to add it to your stay.

A personal touch, rooted in the island

This addition is something close to Kate's heart. Rather than reaching for the generic or the imported, she's built the wellbeing hamper around a simple idea: to champion the island's own makers. Every hamper is a thoughtfully personalised selection that puts local artisans and producers front and centre - the small-batch roasters, the honey gatherers, the spice blenders and craftspeople whose work tells the story of this place far better than anything off a shelf ever could.

The focus is always on quality you can feel. These are sensory products, chosen to be experienced - the warmth of cacao, the curl of Palo Santo smoke, the grain of honey and sand against skin, the scent of fresh blooms moving through the house. It's a celebration of the island's offerings, curated to delight every sense and tailored to you.

We've thought a great deal about that first impression - because when you choose the Wellbeing Hamper, it sets the tone for everything that follows.

In each bedroom, a diffuser is set and waiting, ready to fill the room with a soft, grounding scent. There's real science to it: aromatherapy can ease the nervous system, soften travel fatigue, and help you sleep more deeply on your very first night. But beyond the science, there's simply the feeling of walking into a space that smells like calm.

On the table, your Wellbeing Hamper sits in its hand-carved bowl, and beside it, fresh coconut water on arrival - nothing rehydrates a sun-warmed traveller quite like it. Nature's own electrolytes, served straight from the shell.

Each hamper is a small celebration of the island and the rituals that make a stay feel like a retreat - and wherever possible, every item is the work of a local hand:

Locally roasted coffee - small-batch and freshly roasted on the island, for slow mornings on the veranda and the kind of first sip that sets the whole day right.

Coconut tea - a soft, fragrant island infusion, gentle enough for any hour and quietly grounding. A taste of the tropics in a single cup.

Ceremonial-grade matcha - for a slow, warming morning drink, or a little ritual of indulgence whenever the mood strikes. Whisked with care, sipped without rushing.

Ceremonial cacao and coconut sugar - for a slow, warming evening drink or a tender morning ritual, rich with the deep, earthy comfort only real cacao brings.

Jet-lag tincture - a thoughtfully blended remedy to ease the body back into rhythm after a long journey. A few drops, and the time zones start to soften.

Magnesium bath salts - to be poured into a warm bath after a long beach day or before sleep. They quiet the muscles, ease the mind, and turn a simple soak into something restorative.

Handcrafted Bajan soap - made in small batches just down the road. A bar of slow craftsmanship, lathered into something everyday and lovely.

A SeaSpa homemade sand and honey scrub - our invitation to slow right down. Warm honey and fine sand, a little ocean ritual you perform yourself, leaving skin soft and the mind softer still.

In 2027, we'll be welcoming a small gathering of guests to Seastar House for our first Wellness Retreat - a few quiet days woven from everything we've shared in these pages: sea rituals centered around the natural rhythm of sunrise and sunset, breath work to support circadian balance, deeper rest and connection to nature, signature yoga inspired movement in the sea, sound baths, the cold plunge and sauna, the local makers, the long lunches and the falling into island time.
