Restorative Retreats: Rooted in Nature

A whisper, now with a date.

It begins by the sea

This is the first retreat held between Seastar House, Barbados and Melcombe Farm, Exmoor - two private houses, brought together by a single intention: to return to nature, and to ourselves within it.

A Restorative Retreat Rooted in Nature & Ocean Wellness

A little while ago, we let slip that something was taking shape at the house. We can tell you a little more now.

22nd – 28th February 2027

Our teachers, Miranda and Colin, gather a small group at Seastar - a handful of guests, a few unhurried days, the house given over entirely to the pleasure of being here.

It is the time of year the island feels most generous: dry and bright, the trade winds moving softly through the rooms, the West Coast water clear and quiet in the mornings.

  • Private bedroom for each guest, can accommodate couples

  • Beautifully designed interiors rooted in calm, barefoot natural living

Retreats rooted in nature

In collaboration with Melcombe Retreats.

These are not retreats in the conventional sense. They are intimate, hosted gatherings held close to nature - spaces to exhale, to soften, and to be fully at ease. The beginning of a private collection: two houses, two landscapes, one shared art of restoration.

You are invited to slow down.

Seastar House is the go-to private wellness villa in Barbados, designed for deep rest, gentle reconnection and leaving better than when you arrived.
