There are places that host you, and places that hold you. This is the second kind.

There's a tiredness that holiday brochures don't account for. The kind that lives beneath your shoulders and follows you all the way to the edge of a beautiful pool - where you sit with a drink and wonder why you still feel like you're waiting to arrive.

Seastar House was made for the moment after that.

A house, not a hotel

We built Seastar House the way you'd build a home for someone you love. Every doorway, every cushion, every shadow was chosen by hand. Every texture, considered - because barefoot is the way to experience the house. Nothing here is accidental, but nothing is precious either. The house knows what it's for.

The Sensory Garden

Push open the gate and the sensory garden greets you first - a soft layering of scent drifting up the path before the house comes into view. By the time you reach the front door, your shoulders have already dropped. That's the point.

The garden gets to you before the house does.

Inside

Hand-picked palm leaves arc from a vessel by the entrance. Blooms cut from the garden that morning sit on the dining table, beside the bed, on the edge of the bath. The outdoors is invited in, gently, every day. The diffusers in each bedroom carry a scent of your choosing. To slow your pulse. To suggest sleep..

On Arrival

A fridge stocked with the things you mentioned, and a few you didn't. Fresh blooms on the bedside table. Linen pulled back, pillows plumped - because we want the first thing you feel when you walk in to be an invitation to rest.

This isn't service. It's something closer to being welcomed home.

What we hope

That you sleep deeply. That you cook one meal here, just one. That you sit on the deck at the hour when the light goes pink and the day drifts away, and forget, for a moment, what day it is.

When you leave, some part of you will stay. Some part of the house will go with you.
